My Approach to Helping
If you are feeling overwhelmed, stressed, anxious or depressed you are not alone. I use a gentle and effective approach to help clients overcome obstacles and create more resiliency in their lives. Some of the techniques I use include EMDR and Somatic Experiencing. Both are gentle and effective methods used to overcome trauma, anxiety and stress. How Psychotherapy Can Help
Research now shows that the brain has the capacity to rewire itself. The approaches I use in psychotherapy are researched based and are used to help clients recover from mild stressors through deeply traumatic experiences. These approaches help clients to regain capacity, resiliency and joy.

I believe in the inherent drive to grow and evolve. I also understand that sometimes these drives may get hijacked by circumstances beyond our control. My work is oriented around resetting the natural healing capacity we all carry within ourselves. Somatic Experiencing is one such method that supports our own ability to heal. A very gentle and simple approach, Somatic Experiencing lays the foundation for capacity and resiliency within the self to emerge.
