My Approach to Helping
I work with individuals who are trying to make changes in their lives but find themselves nervous to do so. My clients are aware of their patterns but can’t seem to break them. Sometimes they are wanting to develop more meaningful, fulfilling relationships. For others it’s taking a big step towards a new career or figuring out changes they need to make in their life to feel happier. While some of my other clients are about to enter, or recently entered, parenthood and are navigating all the feelings that brings up.
You want to do things differently but sometimes the thought of how to go about that brings up emotions that are too big and you find yourself stalling on change and continuing the way you’ve been going.
Together in our sessions we'll identify patterns, better understand them, and work together to come up with a plan of how to achieve your goals. My background is in working with people experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, and perinatal mental health.
