Relationships issues, life transitions, and grief, are topics especially close to my heart. Together, we can clarify your values and what you're looking for in a partner, explore strategies for communicating more effectively in your relationships, use insight and self-compassion to disrupt patterns that may no longer be serving you, or help you come to terms with a devastating heartbreak.
We can access your strengths to help you navigate exciting new life chapters that might feel overwhelming at first, such as starting college or university, pursuing a new career, getting married, entering parenthood, retiring, or adjusting to an empty nest. Feeling compelled to make a change in life, but not sure where to start? Let's explore this desire, clarify your vision for the future, and implement an individualized plan.
We can also help you navigate the tasks of mourning after the death of a loved one, which include processing the pain of the grief, and finding a way to honour what you have lost, as you move forward in life. I recognize the courage that it takes to seek support, and am committed to creating a safe and nurturing environment in which we can collaborate.
I am also passionate about supporting caregivers and those in the helping professions. I take a preventative approach to caregiver burnout by providing individuals with a safe space to debrief stressful incidents, and by offering individuals a chance to explore self-care strategies, including the use of emotional boundaries.
