My Approach to Helping
I am a Therapist and have been providing mental health services for 4 years in outpatient and in home settings. and I address Anger management, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), Depression, Panic Attacks, Social Anxiety Disorder, OCD, PTSD, Past Trauma, Sleep disturbances and more. I am interested in helping people to understand their patterns, build self-value and regulate their emotions.
I have extensive training in CBT, DBT, Family systems and Gottman. My therapeutic style incorporates elements on all these, using a mindfulness approach to helping people better their lives. I teach people how to partner with their emotions, work through their trauma, and cope more successfully. I help people build tools to lead successful independent lives. I specialize in emotional regulation and increased communication skills with emphasis on pattern identification and change. My approach is straight forward and employs problem solving and tool building to help people navigate their lives and equip them to deal with problems. I see the therapeutic relation as one of Support and restoration for the building of healthy lives.
