My Approach to Helping
I work with teens, young adults and adults whose anxiety and depression negatively impact their overall well-being. People can feel stuck in uncomfortable emotions, which can lead to low self-esteem and increased stress. I empower clients by helping them realize that they can make healthy changes in their lives. I support clients as they explore their thought patterns and harmful behaviors, identifying the areas of their lives that could use adjustment and finding healthy ways to create lasting change. Clients benefit from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques, with my encouragement to look ahead. I practice client-centered therapy to help clients reach their goals. I often check in with clients to ensure that they feel like they’re on the right track and provide an empathetic space to openly talk about what’s on their minds.
