My Approach to Helping
Hello! I'm Kathryn (she, her) and I'm so glad you decided to take this step. I use a mix of modalities that best support you as an individual, underlined with a straightforward but humorous approach. From psychodynamic and insight-oriented therapy, mindfulness, movement, and somatic work, to cognitive reframing and reconciling conflicting thoughts, I aim to create a space together with you that's full of curiosity, exploration, warmth, and support. I love working with young adults (and those young at heart!) going through life transitions, exploring identities, and managing grief that can come with those changes.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?
Starting something new and talking to someone you've just met can be scary so it's understandable if you're on the fence. You might have doubts. Maybe you've tried therapy before but you never clicked with your therapist. I think that working together to build a therapeutic relationship and space that works for you is key. Therapy can be a great way to grow and build a life more authentic to you, and I'm honored to accompany you in your journey.
