My Approach to Helping

I favor taking a strengths-based approach, empowering my clients to use their unique, innate gifts as a springboard to improved mental health. I’ve worked with adults, transition-aged youth, adolescents, and children. Most of my experience has been with depression, anxiety, trauma, substance usedual diagnosis, self-harm, and grief and loss issues.

More Info About My Practice

Hello! I honor your first step in seeking the support and guidance you might be needing right now. With my years of experience working in mental health, I understand the anxiety that can arise from starting therapy for the first time, or meeting a possible new provider. A safe, validating, and empathetic therapeutic relationship is of utmost importance, and can give you the space you need to explore novel avenues of healing and growth. From my perspective, my role is to help you make new discoveries about yourself, develop greater mental flexibility, and explore valuable tools for handling whatever life throws your way.

Groups I Work With

As a therapist specializing in psychodynamic therapy, I serve diverse populations, including young adults & adults dealing with mental health disorders like depression and anxiety. I also provide in-depth therapy for couples and families to explore and resolve underlying conflicts and improve communication. My practice supports marginalized groups, including LGBTQ+ individuals and racial minorities, and assists individuals in managing chronic illnesses and disabilities. Through a psychodynamic approach, I focus on understanding the unconscious processes influencing my clients' behaviors and emotions, fostering deep, lasting change.
