My Approach to Helping

As your therapist, it’s an honor to walk with you on your path to healing. My goal is to create a strong therapeutic bond based on trust, respect, and openness. I understand that seeking support can be overwhelming, so I strive to make every session feel safe and nurturing. I take a friendly, holistic approach, honoring the connection between mind, body, and spirit. We’ll explore your thoughts and emotions, your physical feelings, and your inner guidance, integrating these elements to bring balance and deeper self-understanding. My approach is warm, nonjudgmental, and centered on helping you uncover the strengths you already possess to move forward.

More Info About My Practice

My core values are rooted in faith in a higher power, which I identify as God—a source of unconditional love for all creation. Unlike perspectives that view God with fear or judgment, I believe God embodies love that reaches every living being. This belief shapes my work, as I strive to foster healing through compassionate language and positive communication. Freud once said, “Words have a magical power,” and I believe words can indeed bring joy or pain, depending on how we use them. Intentional, loving communication is central to my approach, helping clients embrace self-love and acceptance.

I am an advocate of body positivity, affirming that all bodies are good bodies. In a world that promotes narrow beauty standards, many struggle with self-worth. The stigma around body size, shape, race, and gender identity can harm self-esteem and mental health. I promote a message of love, acceptance, and celebration, encouraging a culture where all bodies are valued and diversity is embraced.
