My Approach to Helping
At times, situations in life can get overwhelming, stressful, and unpredictable, and before we know it, all of the tried and true coping skills are no longer working, or we never learned how to cope and manage with many of life's stressful hills and trouble spots. In 1991, I graduated from the University of Cincinnati, Ohio, with a Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work. My primary focus has been providing treatment for various populations with mental health and substance use problems. I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker in the state of Ohio. I am also a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor with International Reciprocity in the state of Ohio. My history includes work with adults, both men and women, with depression, personality disorders, anxiety, and grief. I also have experience working with issues and challenges associated with the elderly and veteran populations.
