My Approach to Helping
Hello! You have chosen to embark on a therapeutic journey, and finding the right person to walk with you is important. I am a licensed clinical social worker in Arizona. I received my Master’s degree from Wichita State University and have been providing an array of therapeutic services to individuals and families since 2015. I combine a client-centered approach to CBT, motivational interviewing, solution-focused techniques, and mindfulness to meet clients' unique and individual needs. These techniques allow me to effectively engage with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, family or relational conflict, self-esteem or identity building, life transitions, and those who have experienced trauma and abuse. My counseling style is accepting, interactive, and attentive. I feel passionate about helping people meet their goals and feel empowered by believing in their strengths and abilities. I enjoy working with individuals ranging from ages 12-56. Choosing to change for a more fulfilling life is not an easy choice, so I commend you on taking the first steps!
