My Approach to Helping
"Hello! My name is Kelsey Goss, and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC). I’ve been working in the mental health field for over 7 years, helping people navigate their challenges and find healing. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health from Adams State University in Alamosa, CO, and I’m a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.
I specialize in areas such as substance use treatment, process addictions, gender-specific trauma, and anxiety. I’m passionate about creating a safe, supportive space for my clients to explore their experiences and work toward personal growth. My goal is to guide you through the tough moments and help you find the strength and resilience within yourself."
My communication style is warm, open, and non-judgmental. I believe in creating a space where you feel comfortable expressing yourself freely. I strive to be a compassionate listener, meeting you where you are in your journey while offering honest, constructive feedback. My goal is to foster a collaborative relationship where we can openly discuss your thoughts, feelings, and challenges.
I prioritize clear and direct communication, while also being mindful of your pace and emotional needs. I aim to strike a balance between offering support and gently challenging you to explore new perspectives and approaches. Ultimately, I want you to feel heard, understood, and empowered in every session
Let me know if this aligns with your style!
