My Approach to Helping
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California as well as the Washington DC area. I received my B.A. and M.Ed. from Kent State University and studied abroad at Oxford University in Oxford, England. Over the last several years, I have provided mental and behavioral health services to the following populations: individuals, couples, and families seeking clinical support in schools, home settings, and the community. I have also serviced foster care, and adolescent females of color with children through a “Moms and Babies” program in Los Angeles. While in these previously mentioned cities, behavioral health support has also been provided to immigrant families from Ethiopia, Eritrea, Ghana, Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala, and other North and South American countries, as well as Armenia and Iran. I have also provided behavioral health support to refugee populations seeking asylum from difficult conditions in their native countries. I have also provided clinical support to victims of discrimination and abuse from the LGBTQ+ community, and victims of national and local gang violence. I look forward to supporting you in any way I can.
