My Approach to Helping
My clients tend to be individuals who are wanting to become more insightful, resilient, and skillful in managing the emotional and mental issues that life can bring their way. They are seeking new ways to manage ongoing problems and create more hopeful futures. All clients regardless of lived experience want empathy, trust, and an emotionally secure space to explore their lives and I strive to provide that environment each time we meet.
I focus the work I do with individuals on helping them develop coping strategies, embrace self-compassion, build emotional resilience, and heal through reflection and insight building. Areas of focus include anxiety and depression management, trauma recovery, LGBTQIA+ and men's issues, challenging imposter syndrome, and reducing feelings of burnout.
