My Approach to Helping
There is no one cure-all for the challenges of life and seeking help through therapy is a big step for anyone! I believe in supporting the strengths an individual has to help them find their best way forward through the challenges of life. I studied culturally relevant social work and use it to see the values and strengths passed down through an individual’s culture and their experiences. I believe in creating strong therapeutic relationships that can help a person feel safe and supported as they explore the challenges of their life. We all have strengths that can get us through hard things, and I believe in supporting individuals to find those strengths and use them. I use a holistic perspective and collaboration to find what works best for the client so they can build their coping mechanisms and tools to face life.
