My Approach to Helping
I have spent a career of 17 years working as a social worker with at risk youth, parents at risk of losing their parental rights, children in foster care along with adopted children and adoptive parents, focusing on behavior issues stemming from trauma and abuse. I treat teens and young adults with self-harm issues and suicidal ideation as well as adults and couples suffering from a variety of life adjustment issues such as divorce, identity issues, anxiety, and depression.
My treatment style is an integrative, strength-based approach along with cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, and behavioral approaches and I use these therapy techniques to help clients overcome a variety of issues that keep them from being the best versions of themselves.
I strive to provide a safe environment by being empathetic, non-judgmental, and inclusive to ensure that my clients feel comfortable and free to tackle any issue facing them
