My Approach to Helping
Kimberly is driven by a desire to support those who are struggling with their mental health, as well as the families who love them. Kimberly has worked with people aged 4 to 84 with substance use disorder, schizophrenia, ADHD, conduct disorder, depression, anxiety, and PTSD. She enjoys running group therapy sessions, supervising students as they grow in their counseling careers, and developing programs to support parents attempting to reunite with their children impacted by substance use. Kimberly is deeply passionate about social justice and works to advocate for equity and education to support inclusivity in our community. Kimberly holds multiple degrees from Wright State University, including an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and an MBA with a concentration in Healthcare Management. She is a dually licensed clinical counselor (LPCC-S and LICDC-CS). Kimberly has served in numerous roles in her community from case manager, therapist, clinical supervisor, manager, and director of community-based programs. A devoted mom to three kids, Kimberly can often be found playing board games, hiking, or simply spending time talking with her family. She loves animals, spending time outdoors, running, knitting, and reading research articles.
