My Approach to Helping
Life is difficult, messy, and very beautiful. My desire is to help you find your potential and sort through the messy and uncomfortable times in one's life. I have over a decade of experience in the mental health field. I have been a licensed therapist since 2015. I have provided counseling and therapy services to people of all ages and diverse backgrounds. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), some dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) skills, acceptance and commitment therapy skills (ACT), and a person-centered approach to help change one's perspective and challenge their old behaviors. I am passionate about working with you in finding and developing a plan to utilize healthy skills to help manage difficult thoughts and behaviors and live a healthier lifestyle. My goal is to work with you in processing through the good and hard times in life and learning to heal and grow.
