My Approach to Helping
I believe most people need access to the right skills and environment in order to thrive. My approach to helping is a blend of natural optimism, love of people, and my past experiences and trainings (24 years in public education, DBT, CBT, Brain-based learning, somatic, and mindfulness trainings). You may be dealing with anxiety, depression, codependency, ADHD, or relationship issues that keep you from the life you want to live. You may be seeking understanding, validation, and permission to care for yourself. Thinking traps like "I shouldn't feel this way" are common and treatable. Sometimes it takes an outsider to help us recognize thinking patterns that block freedom.
