My Approach to Helping
Life can be overwhelming at times. You may be experiencing painful emotions from trauma, abuse, divorce, or grief and loss. For many people, work and relationships can also be challenging. We are living in stressful times that may exacerbate anxiety, depression, and substance use. What you’re feeling today can be different tomorrow. Using a holistic counseling approach, we will work through your challenges and find tools to help you reach your goals.
I am deeply committed to providing a safe space for clients to process their concerns whether they are related to life situations, relationships, trauma, mental health, or substance abuse. As a Gestalt trained therapist, I help clients become aware of what they are doing, how they are doing it and how they can change. This collaborative, holistic approach emphasizes self-acceptance, allowing clients to become more aware of the ways unexamined thoughts, emotions and behaviors may block individual growth and development.
