My Approach to Helping
Are you having a conflict in your mental health or faith? Do you struggle to stay satisfied in your marriage or content with your career? Is it difficult to stay motivated, feel happy, or be comfortable with yourself? Did someone important in your life leave or pass away? Maybe you already have friends, family, or a community to speak with, but fear what they may think if you really opened up. These are common thoughts and feelings addressed in our time together. You are not alone.
It is not too late for you to talk to someone or feel better. There is hope and sometimes that means starting a conversation with a trained therapist in a comfortable and confidential space without judgment. My clients experience healing, connection, and real solutions to their concerns.
I specialize in Christian Counseling and Art Therapy via telehealth in both Iowa and South Dakota. Navigate to my website to learn more, schedule an appointment, or contact me. I look forward to hearing your story! www.richardscc.org

How Psychotherapy Can Help
Processing sensitive information in a confidential space with a trained professional is, many times, preferable to opening up to your immediate friendsfamily. A therapist is a non-judgmental 3rd party!
My Therapy Focus
I would be considered a more ?cognitive? therapist in the sense that we will discuss topics deeply and peel back layers. I process with my clients in a holistic, person-centered way.
Important Factors for Choosing a Therapist
Finding a counselor to connect and resonate with is half of the battle when seeking therapy services. My personality is relaxed, professional, and approachable. I work best with teens, young adults, adults, and geriatric folks going through life transitions who simply need to process with someone outside of their normal family and social circles.
