My Approach to Helping
Hi there! I know that life can feel chaotic and overwhelming and I am here to help you to recognize your potential for positive change. This is your story, and I am here to assist you in achieving your goals. I aim to create an empathetic space where you feel safe and validated, where we can unpack complex issues and help you feel in control of your life.
I specialize in working with individuals in the LGBTQ+ community and individuals who are experiencing grief, body dysphoria, anxiety, depression, relationships issues and life transitions. I find it helpful to work with mixed modalities in psychotherapy, the primary being CBT and somatic therapies.
I find it important for therapy to be a collaborative experience between client and clinician, where we can foster a strong therapeutic relationship, help you connect with your authentic self, build resilience, and offer an environment that strengthens your ability to cope with everyday life struggles.
