Welcome to my practice! I am glad you are taking the first steps toward your whole health and wellbeing. As a Therapist, I consider my approach to be a combination of collaborative, directive, insight-oriented and skills-based. My career has thus far been dedicated to working primarily with teens, young adults, and families struggling with severe mental illness and grief and bereavement. I utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities such as talk therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
I believe my role as a therapist is to support you in discovering the wealth of knowledge and resources you already have, and to assist you in identifying and using them more easily, and with more confidence!
I use a “whole-person” approach in each one of my sessions, remembering that you have a full life outside of therapy! Each unique part of your life helps contribute to who you are. The more I know about you, the more effective I can be in helping you create and execute a plan to help you reach your goals.
