My Approach to Helping

I have 24 years of professional counselling and therapy experience. Clients work with me because they have a goal they want to reach, a pattern they wish to change, a relationship to discuss, or something to heal from the past. My role is to guide you on a transformative journey with unwavering support & provide powerful tools to help you feel better. During treatment, clients learn to trust themselves more & feel less anxious, sad, reactive, or self-critical. Listening to your feelings, thoughts, body, and needs is a skill. When this is personal practice, confidence increases, decision-making is easier, boundaries are clearer, & relationships are less stressful.

Counselling and supporting others with their healing has been my life\'s work and I love what I do. My approach includes traditional talk therapy, mindfulness, Emotion Focused Therapy, IFS Informed Parts Work, Interpersonal Neurobiology, & Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, which addresses somatic symptoms of unresolved trauma. I\'m also trained in CBT, sound therapy, and restorative yoga.

I understand that reaching out for help can feel hard at first, but when you get the support you need, life gets easier & you reach your goals faster. Together we will create clear goals and a personalized treatment plan that works for you. I\'ll check in to ensure you\'re content throughout the process. Your well-being and dreams are my priority.
