I provide couples therapy as well as family therapy for those with teens (ages 13 and up) and adult children. I’ve trained extensively in the Gottman Method, emotionally focused therapy (EFT) for couples, and emotionally focused family therapy, which forms the core of my practice. My approach is deeply trauma-informed, ensuring that each client’s unique experiences are respected and integrated into the healing process.
Trauma-informed healing for relationships. Every relationship is shaped by individual experiences, and past trauma can play a significant role in how we connect with others. Together, we uncover and address patterns, often rooted in past experiences, that shape your current relationships. I prioritize creating a safe, supportive environment where all clients are seen, valued, and heard, establishing a foundation for healing and meaningful change.
With couples, I focus on rebuilding trust, improving communication, and strengthening emotional intimacy using proven approaches like the Gottman Method and emotionally focused therapy (EFT). For families, my training in emotionally focused family therapy helps address conflict, heal old wounds, and build supportive relationships across generations. Whether it’s navigating co-parenting challenges, resolving intergenerational conflicts, or fostering greater understanding among family members, I’m here to help you build connections that last.
Integrating hypnotherapy and coaching. In addition to therapy, I bring experience as a hypnotherapist and coach. These approaches can complement traditional therapy, especially when addressing subconscious patterns or fostering confidence to navigate personal challenges. Hypnotherapy, for example, can help reduce anxiety, uncover hidden blocks, or build resilience. Coaching is particularly effective for setting goals and developing strategies to enhance both personal and professional well-being.

My professional experience and journey, I am a licensed mental health counselor and Washington State-approved clinical supervisor with over a decade of experience helping couples and families in the Seattle area. My career began with hypnotherapy and life coaching in 2011, which inspired me to pursue an MA in clinical mental health counseling in 2015. This additional training allowed me to deepen my expertise and expand my work to include trauma-informed care, couples therapy, and family therapy. Today, my practice is centered on helping clients create meaningful and lasting change.
