My Approach to Helping
If you are struggling with anxiety or depression, relationship issues, or self-esteem issues, I provide a non-judgmental, validating approach drawn from mindfulness-based, cognitive behavioral therapy or Hakomi Therapy. I also draw from narrative therapy and Internal Family Systems which is a modality that helps you identify the different parts of yourself to help them work together in a more effective way. The whole process is quite fun and exciting! I work with adults, especially women, and teens. I have a specialty in working with teens, as they tend to respond well to me.
