What's My Approach to Therapy?
You’ve been holding it all together- work, family, relationships- yet inside you feel wired, exhausted, and unsure how much longer you can keep the smile in place. If that sounds familiar, you’ve already taken the first brave step by looking for a therapist.
Hi, I’m Laurel, and I help women across Washington State trade relentless self-critique for steadier calm and self-compassion. Whether you’re navigating pregnancy, postpartum shifts, or the slow creep of professional burnout, our work will blend evidence based practices (CBT, ACT, mindfulness) with plenty of warmth and humor.
What sessions with me are like:
You set the tone. We start with what feels most pressing today, no agenda forced on you.
Practical + reflective. Expect bite-size skills you can use between sessions, alongside deeper exploration of the stories that shape you.
Fully online. Meet from the comfort of your own space; all paperwork and payments are handled securely online.
Transparent about money. I’m out-of-network, and I’ll walk you through checking benefits and submitting superbills so finances don’t feel mysterious.
Therapy with me isn’t about “fixing” you; it’s about partnering so you can move from surviving to living with more ease, confidence, and clarity. If you’re ready to breathe easier and reclaim the parts of life that feel squeezed out, let’s talk. Schedule your free 15-minute consult at grangercounselingllc.com and see if we’re a good fit.
My Practice & Services
Granger Counseling, PLLC is a solo, fully online practice serving adults anywhere in Washington State. All sessions take place via a secure HIPAA-compliant video platform, and every piece of paperwork- intake forms, consent, payment- is handled electronically so you can focus on the work rather than logistics.
In addition to individual psychotherapy, I offer:
15-minute complimentary consults to ensure good fit before scheduling.
Collaboration with OBGYNs, primary-care providers, midwives and doulas (with your permission) to coordinate perinatal care.
I am an out-of-network provider and will guide you through verifying benefits and submitting superbills for reimbursement. If you have questions about how online therapy works, or whether it’s right for you, please reach out; I’m happy to help clarify next steps.
Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With
I specialize in untangling perinatal anxiety, postpartum overwhelm, and the burnout that sneaks up on high-achieving women. I pursued advanced PMH-C training so I can offer evidence-based support- grounded in both clinical expertise and lived experience- to help you feel steadier in this chaotic, and precious season.
On the Fence About Going to Therapy?
You might be wondering, "Is my stress really bad enough for therapy?" or "What if talking about it makes me feel worse?" or "I'm already so overwhelmed, how will I find time to take on therapy?" I hear questions like this all the time. Therapy isn't a last-resort fix; it's a proactive space to get clarity, learn practical tools, and feel less alone in what you're carrying.
Our first 15-minute consult is simply a conversation- no commitment, no pressure. We'll talk about what's weighing on you, what you hope could feel different, and how online sessions work. If we both sense a good fit, we'll map out a plan together; if not, I'm happy to point you toward other resources. Either way, you'll leave that call with next steps and a little more breathing room than you had before.
