My Approach to Helping
My passion lies in building a safe and collaborative space where we can work together to overcome life’s obstacles. I am passionate about working with members from all communities - including BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ individuals. I take a social justice approach to my work, while utilizing a variety of techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, a Person-Centered Positive approach, incorporation of mind/body connection, meditation, and creating healthy life balance. Together, we will collaborate to identify what work best for you. I prioritize genuineness and authenticity in my sessions to provide you with the best support for your specific issues - whether that is a space to listen or concrete coping skills to take with you outside of session
