My Approach to Helping
My journey into the field of psychology and therapy began at a young age, driven by my own struggles with mental health during my teenage years. This experience inspired me to support others facing similar challenges. I pursued my educational path at Montclair State University for my undergraduate degree and continued to Fairleigh Dickinson University, where I earned my Master’s in Clinical Psychology and Counseling.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I am committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental space for my clients. I focus on helping them set realistic goals and supporting them throughout the process, utilizing a person-centered approach and drawing from various therapeutic modalities.
Throughout my career, I have worked with diverse age groups and populations, concentrating primarily on adolescents and adults over the past three years. My experience includes treating ADHD, adjustment disorders, anxiety, autism spectrum disorder, bipolar disorder, depression, developmental disabilities, eating disorders, OCD, and traumaPTSD.
