My Approach to Helping
Too often we are taught mental toughness instead of learning to seek help when we need it. Everyone deserves a safe, nonjudgmental space in which they can learn how to acknowledge and process emotions. Avoiding our issues, traumas, and problems won't cause them to disappear. You may have tried to cope by smoking, drinking, playing video games, or engaging in other activities that only serve as a bandage for the real healing that needs to happen.
Throughout my career, I have been committed to fostering a therapeutic environment that is safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental. I will help clients understand and overcome their challenges, develop coping strategies, and achieve a greater sense of well-being. This blend allows me to address both the symptoms and underlying issues my clients face.
