My Approach to Helping
If you’re struggling with keeping it together and feel like you don’t have much more to give, if it’s been months since you felt like yourself, if you keep promising yourself to make a change but then feel overwhelmed or don’t know where to start, I can help make your life a brighter place. When we’re struggling, we feel alone yet hesitate to seek support from others because of shame or not wanting to burden others with our “problems.” Depression and anxiety are not a weakness, an inherent problem, or a punishment that we deserve. I will help you see that you deserve better; you deserve to be happy, to feel love, and to experience peace.
I will work alongside you in a collaborative approach as I am not the expert in your life, you are. I will provide a safe, accepting space for you to share your thoughts and feelings without fear of being judged. We’ll challenge beliefs about yourself that are keeping you stuck and identify your inner strengths. My plan is that you will begin to feel more hopeful, confident, and optimistic, and do so quickly.
