My Approach to Helping
I became a mental health provider because our mental health shapes and forms other aspects of our lives. Mental health is vital! I have been a Doctor of Social Work and Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2019, and I have experience supporting children, adolescents, young adults, and adults with concerns such as trauma, depression, anxiety, PTSD, marital counseling, anger management, acute inpatient care, and partial hospitalization. I don’t believe as a therapist my role is to “Save the world” or “Empower” my clients. I believe together my clients and I can work alongside each other to assist them with identifying tools within themselves and community resources to successfully reach their goals. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy home decor, cooking, and spending quality time with family. The types of therapy I offer include, but are not limited to, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Culturally Sensitive Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Multicultural Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy.
