My Approach to Helping
I work in Logan Square in Chicago as a licensed clinical social worker. I offer individual therapy, and see my clients as the leading authorities on their own lives. They also have an innate capacity for growth. My job is to help you find solutions and surmount obstacles to a full and enriching life. I use client-driven, strengths-based, and person-centered therapies to achieve these goals.
The nature of the human experience means that each client needs something different. I offer personally tailored care. People seek therapy for many reasons. I am sure you have your own. Sometimes folks seek therapy to address a definitive or grave issue for a specific period. Others seek long-term continued support. It’s important for me to understand your dynamic needs. I can best assist you when I understand your treatment goals.
My background is that I studied social work at both the Bachelor's and Master's levels at Loyola University Chicago and The Jane Addams College of Social Work respectively. Since 2010 I have had the privilege of working in a variety of settings in and around Chicago including high acuity inpatient behavioral health treatment, crisis work in emergency rooms, and outpatient substance abuse and behavioral health treatment settings. These roles have afforded me the opportunity to interact with people from all walks of life and varying experiences. If you are considering entering or continuing with your own therapeutic experience feel free to contact me to set aside some time and space for yourself.
To avoid phone tag I am most accessible via e-mail.
