My Approach to Helping
I enjoy helping people identify and replace self-defeating behavioral patterns with healthier coping methods. Of particular interest to me is counseling people struggling with depression, grief loss, abrupt life changes, or coping with chronic or terminal medical or physical conditions, whether it's you or a family member. I utilize only research-driven, clinically-approved approaches to therapy, such as cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused methods. I will not keep you in treatment longer than is necessary to get back to living life as it is meant to be lived. I am easy-going and comfortable to talk to, and my goal for each session is for you to feel HOPE that the heaviness and stress you feel now will eventually subside.
