My Approach to Helping
I find it an honor to work with my clients and to be able to build rapport and trust to serve them best in a neutral, positive nonjudgmental environment. For your convenience I am available most evening and weekend hours to accommodate your busy schedules or if you work during the day. I realize it is not an easy decision to contact a counselor, but you do not need to struggle ` alone. If you are ready to look at yourself and commit to starting the process of change, I will gladly work with you and support you. I realize everyone is different and I do not take a cookie-cutter approach. I will work directly with you at your pace and encourage you to make the changes you desire. I have over 15
I utilize acceptance commitment therapy, (ACT) cognitive behavioral, (CBT), person-centered, and mindfulness techniques. Life is full of stressors that we cannot completely eradicate as new stressors are continually a part of life. I assist my clients on how to live with these stressors by allowing them to feel their anxiety or depression and understand it.
