My Approach to Helping

Welcome! I work with a variety of issues including complex posttraumatic stress (PTSD), relational trauma, addiction, challenging family dynamics, men's issues, attachment, relationship issues, self exploration and EFT couple work. Perhaps you feel unknown to yourself or others. Perhaps boundaries are challenging or you feel stuck in difficult relationship patterns that no longer serve you or that you don't understand. Perhaps you are being drawn to processing past hurts that are impacting the present. I have a special interest in working with childhood experiences, men's therapy, first responders, adult children of alcoholics & dysfunctional family dynamics.
I have experience working with trauma, family addiction, attention-deficit hyperactivity (ADHD), Bi-polar condition, psychosis, BPD, schizophrenia. and have special interest working with those ready to explore, discover, process and heal the self through an emotionally focused, reparative therapeutic relationship. I offer virtual sessions in Ontario and in person sessions in Burlington.
I offer a safe space to gently explore your internal world. In our work together we can begin to emotionally organize, accept and integrate parts and experiences, creating self-compassion, acceptance and empowerment in your sense of self. If you feel ready I look forward to walking this journey alongside you.
