My Approach to Helping

As a psychotherapist, I embrace an integrated holistic model of care, recognizing that emotional well-being is deeply intertwined with physical, mental, relational, and spiritual aspects of life. My approach is person-centered, evidence-based, and tailored to meet each client’s unique needs, honoring their personal experiences and innate strengths.
I view healing as a dynamic process that involves the integration of thoughts, emotions, and physiological responses. I incorporate Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address unhelpful thinking patterns, somatic therapies to release trauma stored in the body, and mindfulness practices to cultivate present-moment awareness and emotional regulation.
Relationships shape our sense of self and emotional resilience. My work integrates attachment theory, interpersonal therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help clients build healthier connections with themselves and others. By exploring relational patterns and healing past wounds, clients develop deeper self-compassion and meaningful relationships.
I believe in harnessing a person’s innate strengths as a foundation for healing and growth. I integrate positive psychology, self-compassion techniques, and existential exploration to support clients in finding purpose, resilience, and fulfillment. Through a collaborative therapeutic process, clients uncover inner resources to navigate life’s challenges with confidence and self-trust.
Every individual carries unique life experiences that shape their worldview. I practice from a trauma-informed, culturally responsive perspective, ensuring that therapy is a safe, validating space where all aspects of identity and lived experience are honored. I incorporate polyvagal theory and narrative therapy to help clients process trauma, reclaim their voices, and regain a sense of agency.
Emotional health flourishes when all aspects of well-being are nurtured. I guide clients in lifestyle interventions, including nutrition for mental health, movement-based practices, sleep hygiene, and stress reduction techniques that support sustainable well-being. Through holistic self-care strategies, clients develop practical tools to enhance daily functioning and overall life satisfaction.
Healing is not a one-size-fits-all journey. I work collaboratively, ensuring therapy aligns with each client’s values, goals, and pace. My role is to empower clients to rediscover their strengths, reframe limiting beliefs, and cultivate emotional resilience, leading to lasting transformation and meaningful change.

If you are seeking compassionate, integrative, and effective therapy, I welcome you to connect with me and begin your journey toward healing, growth, and a more fulfilling life.
