My Approach to Helping
Hi, my name is Katie. Thank you for visiting my page. I’m glad you’re here. I understand that what has brought you here has not been easy. Perhaps something has recently happened that has left you in need of additional support. Maybe something from your past keeps creeping up, and you feel ready to handle it. Or perhaps you have suddenly found yourself in need of change. I believe that everyone possesses the capacity for growth, change, and healing. I consider it the most honorable privilege to be included in that endeavor.
I have experience supporting anxiety, trauma, work stressors, academic stressors, self-esteem, identity, grief, life transitions, & existential concerns. To do this, I use a variety of approaches based on what works best for you. At the core of my therapeutic approach is the belief that therapy is most effective when we work together as a team to personalize treatment & create a holistic path.
