My Approach to Helping
I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC), a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), as well as a Professional School Counselor, and have been counseling children, adolescents, and families since 2016 in both Georgia and Michigan. I have been trained to help with a variety of different life challenges, including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, and relationship conflicts. In addition, I have been trained in trauma-informed yoga, meditation, and mindfulness, as well as in strengths-focused interventions. As a counselor, I utilize therapy modalities that best fit the needs of each individual client and am considered eclectic, as I incorporate information from a variety of evidence-based therapy models. My goal is to provide each client with coping skills that will help them navigate life challenges and overcome these challenges in healthy ways.
