My Approach to Helping

I am a licensed therapist based in Southern California, who works with clients online throughout California. Many of my clients are looking to manage anxiety and worry, explore changes and transitions in their lives, improve and strengthen the relationships most important to them, and explore issues around identity.

My approach is rooted in psychodynamic theory, or understanding the influence of early relationships and experiences on present behavior. I also works to help clients notice their emotions and what is happening in their bodies, and learn to soothe parts of themselves that may need attention. Many of my clients did not feel seen or understood at some point when they were young, and we explore how this is impacting them in their current relationships.

My client’s have described me as supportive and non-judgmental, and have appreciated my thought-provoking questions and attentiveness.

My priority in my relationships with clients is to create a safe and respectful environment for clients to come forward with whatever they are experiencing. I bring a deep care and respect to my work, and I appreciate getting to know clients in all of their uniqueness and complexity.

More Info About My Practice

At the moment, I see clients in person on Tuesdays and Fridays in Redondo Beach, and see client's online Monday through Friday.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?

I know that finding the right therapist and starting therapy can be hard. We can talk about any challenges that may come up- whether you don't feel like you deserve to spend money on your own therapy, you struggle to open up and be vulnerable with others, or you struggle with feeling misunderstood, I want to hear about it and support you. I believe committing to therapy is an act of care and support for yourself, and often the relationships most important to you. Therapy is a place for you to reflect on your feelings and reactions, and to try out different ways of engaging with yourself and others.
