My Approach to Helping
At times, life and the changes life brings can be overwhelming. These changes can make it challenging to move from one moment to the next, let alone the next day, especially when the tools we have to cope with no longer benefit us. It can seem impossible to deal with these life stressors and escape from the overwhelming feelings that accompany them. I am here to help you through the journey of these life stressors and to create new ways to deal with them. I am licensed in Arizona with 13 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with grief and loss, parenting issues, motivation, self-esteem, and confidence. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. I use a mix of cognitive behavioral therapy, emotionally focused couples therapy, and multi-systemic therapy to help you achieve your goals. By looking outside the box, whether as an individual or a couple, you can feel empowered to enact great change in your life. I vow to always work towards developing a trusting relationship in which you feel heard. Together, we can break down the seemingly insurmountable barriers you feel in your life.
