My Approach to Helping

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a diverse professional background, I have a unique approach to helping individuals of all ages and backgrounds navigate life's challenges. I strive to create a collaborative and inclusive environment where clients feel comfortable sharing their struggles.

With my background in Exercise and Sports Sciences and Yoga Therapy, I integrate mind-body practices into therapy sessions for clients open to the approach. As a Florida Certified Sex Therapist, I can also help individuals navigate sexual functioning, sexual health, desire, arousal, anxiety related to sex, and relationship concerns.

In addition to these specialties, I have extensive experience working with eating disorders, and I incorporate evidence-based modalities like Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and mindfulness skills to create personalized treatment plans. I have worked in diverse settings, including the Hillsborough County Public School System, Child Protective Services, the Public Defender's Office, dual-diagnosis treatment centers, personal training, and bariatric mental health therapy.

As the Vice President of the Tampa chapter of the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (iaedp), I am passionate about educating and providing resources to professionals in the Tampa Bay community.

My objective is to help clients understand and navigate the obstacles they encounter in life while emphasizing both mental and physical well-being. I strive to create a supportive, secure, and trusting atmosphere tailored to each client's unique needs, ensuring they leave each session feeling empowered and equipped to face life's challenges.

More Info About My Practice

My counseling office is excited to announce that we now have a Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern who offers counseling services at reduced fees. As an RCSWI, they are under the supervision of Licensed providers and are committed to providing quality counseling services to clients.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who may not have been able to afford counseling services in the past, as the reduced fees are a fraction of the usual cost. Additionally, the RCSWI will be able to provide fresh insights and perspectives, as they are still in the process of learning and growing in their counseling career.

If you or someone you know could benefit from counseling services but have been deterred by cost, please don't hesitate to reach out to our office to learn more about this opportunity. We are excited to offer this to our community and look forward to hearing from you.
