My Approach to Helping

Are you struggling with depression or anxiety due to life transitions? Are you having difficulty parenting your children? Do you wonder what a better relationship with your partner would look like? Do you need help in regulating your emotions? Would you like to develop higher self esteem?

I use a collaborative approach to helping women in therapy. Together we can work as a team to explore your thoughts, feelings, behaviors, relationships, and family history. I want you to feel heard, understood and respected in a non-judgmental environment. I will work with you to identify goals that are in line with your unique needs and values. I find it important to use honesty and transparency to meet each woman where they are in the therapy process. Together we can work as a team to increase insight and develop strategies to improve your quality of life.

More Info About My Practice

My practice "Therapy for Women" is for women age 13 and older. Helping women is my passion. I am currently accepting new clients both in person in my Martinsville, NJ office as well as online via a HIPPA compliant platform. In addition to being licensed to practice in NJ, I am also credentialed with PSYPACT which allows me to practice telepsychology in many other states. Therefore, therapy would not have to be interrupted if you go to school out of state, are away on a business trip, or move.

Take this courageous first step and reach out to me by phone or email. I'd love to see if we are a good fit for working together.

My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy

The purpose of psychotherapy is to assist individuals in understanding themselves, their relationships, their thoughts, feelings, and experiences on a deeper level. This depth of understanding can lead to greater emotional well-being, healthier relationships and life choices, and an alleviation of everyday stress.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

There is nothing more rewarding than making a positive impact on someone's life. I feel grateful that in my daily work I can share with you tools and strategies to help them navigate through life's joys and challenges.
