My Approach to Helping
I offer in-person or virtual sessions focused on working with individuals and couples coping with issues of depression, anxiety, anger, and difficulties in their personal relationships (marriage, parenting, dating) as well as their professional careers. I utilize an empathic, strength-based approach that allows me to have a greater sense of your emotional experience while also identifying what strengths and resources you have to create the meaningful change in your life that you are seeking. My goal as a therapist is to help guide you through this process and feel both safe and supported. Now today, and more than ever, we need a space to constructively share our thoughts and feelings with the hopes of not only being seen and heard, but learning how to both understand and tolerate our emotional experiences. My work with clients not only instills them with greater understanding and resilience, but also helps them invite greater peace and happiness into their lives.

While I am not contracted to work with any insurance companies, I do bill insurance as an out of network provider and can assist you during our initial consultation with any questions you might have, including determining what benefits you might be able to utilize to lower the cost of your sessions. Additionally, I handle all the insurance billing through my online platform so you won't be tasked with having to manage the frustration of super-bills and paperwork.

I specialize in helping individuals and couples navigating the complexities of separation and divorce. As a divorced single father, I have an intimate understanding of how painful this process is and how to best support my clients in this difficult time of transition. I also have training in collaborative dispute resolution so I can work with high conflict couples as well as individuals to give them a space to share their emotions while still working toward a meaningful resolution.
