My Approach to Helping
Delaney Cash believes that therapy is both an art and a science, a journey built on trust, safety, and acceptance. With a commitment to nurturing a genuine therapeutic relationship, Delaney meets clients exactly where they are, guiding them step by step toward a path of self-discovery and healing. She wants her clients to know they are worthy of inner freedom and joy. Through a balance of kind truths and gentle challenges, she provides the tools and encouragement needed to create sustainable change.
A Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Colorado and Missouri, Delaney holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Arkansas and a Bachelor of Social Work from Missouri Southern State University. Her career began with undergraduate and graduate practicums at a Child Advocacy Center, where she later served as a Child Trauma Therapist, helping children and families navigate life after trauma and abuse.
Delaney’s approach is strengths-based, incorporating Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). She has also completed advanced training in play therapy and sand tray therapy, allowing her to adapt to the unique needs of each client. Outside of Foundations, Delaney enjoys time with loved ones, exploring the mountains, and diving into a good book. A lover of fun facts, dad jokes, puzzles, and all things birthday cake-flavored, Delaney brings warmth and a touch of humor to both her work and her personal life.
