My Approach to Helping

I believe that every person has an innate capacity for healing and growth. As a licensed clinical social worker with over a decade of experience, I understand how challenging life transitions, trauma, and overwhelming situations can be. My approach to therapy is rooted in compassion and authenticity, aiming to create a supportive environment where you can explore, express, and understand your experiences.

In my practice, I utilize a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and EMDR to help clients navigate and overcome their challenges. My goal is to offer engaging and flexible sessions that empower you with the knowledge, tools, and support needed to move past the barriers that are keeping you stuck.

I believe that knowledge is power. Therapy provides you with the tools, support, and understanding needed to move past the experiences that keep you feeling stuck. Let’s work together to learn, grow, and heal.

What I Say to People Concerned about the Therapy Process

It?s very common to feel uncertain or apprehensive about starting therapy. Many people worry about how it will feel or whether it will truly help. My approach is to make the process as supportive and comfortable as possible. We?ll work together at a pace that feels right for you, and I?ll be there to guide you through each step.

Therapy is a space where you can openly explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment. It?s about finding what works best for you and helping you build the tools to navigate your challenges. Remember, taking the first step is a courageous move toward positive change, and I?m here to support you. If you have any questions or concerns, don?t hesitate to reach out.
