My Approach to Helping

My approach to healing is centered on creating a safe and compassionate space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment. I believe in the power of connection and empathy, which allows us to build a trusting therapeutic relationship. Together, we will identify the unique challenges you face and work collaboratively to develop personalized strategies for growth.

I draw from various therapeutic modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to help you understand and navigate your experiences. I prioritize self-acceptance and resilience, empowering you to embrace your journey. Healing is a personal process, and my goal is to support you in finding clarity, strength, and a renewed sense of purpose as you move forward. You are not alone in this journey; I’m here to walk alongside you every step of the way.

More Info About My Practice

I bring over six years of private practice experience and prior work in a partial residential treatment center for eating disorders to provide the highest quality mental health services.

At my practice, I strive to create a comfortable and safe environment where clients can feel open and free to share their thoughts and feelings. My approach is client-centered, which means that I focus on each individual's unique needs and tailor the therapy to best fit them.

I have a deep understanding of eating disorders, having worked with patients in a partial residential treatment center. I am passionate about helping those who struggle with eating disorders and guiding them towards a path of recovery.

In addition to eating disorders, I have experience working with a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. My goal is to support clients in their healing journey and provide them with tools to cope with life's challenges.

Whether you're seeking support for a specific mental health issue or simply want to improve your overall well-being, I'm here to help. Please don't hesitate to reach out and schedule an appointment with me. I look forward to working with you!

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?

I understand that considering therapy can be daunting, but I assure you, it is a decision that can truly change your life for the better. As a therapist, I have had the privilege of helping countless individuals who have faced similar reservations and fears to the ones you are currently experiencing.

I can appreciate that starting therapy may seem intimidating, as it requires one to open up about personal experiences and vulnerabilities. However, the therapeutic space is one of the few places where you can talk about anything without judgment. Your privacy and comfort are of utmost importance, and everything that you share in session will remain confidential.

The decision to begin therapy can seem like a big one, but please consider that this is an investment in yourself. Just like you take care of your physical health by visiting the doctor, it is essential to care for your mental and emotional health. Therapy can help you process past experiences, gain new perspectives, and develop the skills and tools to overcome challenges and reach your full potential.

Please know that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all approach, and it's okay to take the time to find a therapist who is the right fit for you. I encourage you to ask questions and explore your options. Our initial consultation will provide you with an opportunity to ask questions, gain a sense of my therapeutic style, and decide whether we can work together towards achieving your goals.

I want to assure you that I am here to support and guide you every step of the way. Let us embark on this journey of growth and self-discovery together.
