My Approach to Helping

Hi there!

Let’s see if we are a good match to support your wellness, together. Reach out for a consultation; I am happy to listen and look forward to discussing the possibilities of what healing and change can look like for you.

You will find my style to be fluid and conversational. I prioritize creating a warm and supportive environment that promotes a sense of safety and acceptance. My therapeutic approach is integrative; I draw from a variety of evidence-based techniques and tailor my approach to each client's unique needs.

I am committed to helping you navigate life's challenges and achieve lasting positive change by building skills, insight, and awareness. I specialize in supporting clients with building a deeper connection with themselves, to then overcome anxiety, depression, life stressors, and relationship issues (among other challenges). I especially enjoy helping you regain a sense of self, direction, purpose, and hope.

I see clients in-person and via telehealth through my private practice, Windy Therapy. Windy is a safe and welcoming space. Windy’s approach leads with authenticity and a desire to continually prioritize a spirit of openness and acceptance. Windy is an LGBTQIA2S+ affirming practice. Check out more at WindyTherapy.com

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

SELF-ESTEEM and IDENTITY:
Feeling down on yourself and wondering about your value can affect many aspects of your life, and contribute to an overall lack of enjoyment and happiness. Questioning your identity and who you are is another challenging aspect to this work. Learning more about yourself from a strengths based perspective can support you in discovering and embracing your best self. I love this work and the power of self discovery, empowerment, and insight!

ANXIETY:
Overwhelm from reoccurring worry and thought rumination is real and can also contribute to feeling helpless in your own mind. I too have navigated this heavy space and found a way out. I am deeply passionate about supporting others in doing the same. Let?s partner on this together! There IS hope for healing and you don?t need to do it alone.

DEPRESSION:
Sadness and hopelessness are painful emotions to carry, let alone on a regular basis. We now know more about this condition than ever before, including treatment strategies that work. Let?s get going on helping you to heal and recover from the strain and hardship that depression creates.
