My Approach to Helping
Whatever you are experiencing, you do not have to experience it alone. I am here to provide support, accountability and encouragement.
My hope in connecting with you is to help you absorb your own insight on helpful and unhelpful behaviors and beliefs that could be keeping you stuck. Each person's experiences help to shape who they are, and my intention is to make sure that you can use the power of your experiences to move forward and to leave old narratives no longer serving you behind.
With clinical experience in addiction and mental health treatment settings, I have had the privilege of working with primarily adults coping with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, substance abuse, mood disorders and personality disorders. Some treatment modalities I use include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and unconditional positive regard.
