My Approach to Helping
For more than two decades, I've served as a counselor in various roles, as clinical director of psychiatric facilities, college counselor, private practitioner & clinical supervisor for counseling interns. I hold a master's degree in education with a specialization in guidance & counseling, as well as a Ph.D. in psychology. My counseling experience encompasses a wide array of areas such as women's issues, aging, depression, anxiety, self-esteem & domestic violence. I work with individuals from teenagers to adults of all ages. I believe that goals are deeply personal, and my aim is to assist individuals to reach their goals.
I utilize a Cognitive Based Therapy approach in counseling, understanding that how individuals perceive events & relationships significantly influences their emotions and actions. I firmly believe in people's ability to enact change & live the life they aspire to. My role is to offer guidance and support throughout this journey.
