My Approach to Helping

As a clinical psychologist specializing in anxiety, relationships, and LGBTQIA+ affirming care, I offer a warm and compassionate space to support my clients in understanding their concerns and finding a path to a full and meaningful life. I tailor treatment to you by integrating evidence-based psychotherapies with relational and process-oriented techniques. I use elements of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and acceptance-based approaches (ACT and DBT) to increase flexibility in thinking, while helping you to understand how relationship dynamics impact your life.

More Info About My Practice

I offer both in-person and virtual sessions. My office space is located in Brooklyn, near the Williamsburg waterfront and McCarren Park and can be reached by subway (L and G trains) or ferry.

Had a Negative Therapy Experience?

Therapy should be a space where you feel safe to be vulnerable and ask for help. If you have had a negative experience with therapy in the past, it is incredibly brave to try again with someone new. In our first few sessions we will spend as much time as needed to answer your questions, discuss therapy boundaries and get to know you and your concerns. My hope is that, with time, you will feel able to trust me to listen and respond to you with warmth and compassion.
